Oppose the "Nuclear Option"
Take action by Wednesday, April 13, 2005
Please call your Senators and urge them to
oppose changing the
filibuster rules. Changes to these rules could
result in easy confirmation
of anti-choice judges and lead to the erosion
or eradication of women's
reproductive rights.
"We need to stop the
Senate Majority leaders
from granting the White House carte blanche to
give a lifetime
appointment to the most extreme federal judges
who oppose civil rights
for all and who are particularly adamant about
the right of women to
make their own family planning decisions,"
said Llenda Jackson-Leslie,
NWPC president.
