  1. As a former secretary of state, U.S. senator, first lady, and a lifelong advocate for women and families, no one is more qualified to be president than Hillary.
  2. Hillary knows child care, equal pay, and paid leave are fundamental economic issues—not just “women’s issues.”
  3. Our democracy should work for everyone—not just the wealthy and well-connected.

  11. The economy is stronger when a Democrat is in the White House.
  12. Hillary will defend Planned Parenthood and women’s health care from Republican attacks.
  13. Hillary’s New College Compact would mean students would never have to borrow to pay for tuition to attend a four-year public college in their state—and the millions of Americans who have student debt can refinance.
  14. Because taxpayers shouldn’t pay for millionaires’ and billionaires’ kids to go to college.
    Guaranteed paid family leave.
  15. She declared on the world stage that “gay rights are human rights.”

  19. She’s the only Democrat with hedge-fund billionaires running ads against her—because they know her agenda is to stop their agenda.
  20. After decades of fighting for progressive issues (and 11 straight hours of testimony in front of a Republican-led congressional committee), she’s proved nobody can stand up to Republicans better than she can.
  21. She’s been fighting for women and children her entire career—ever since she started working at the Children’s Defense Fund after law school.

  1. Hillary is a pragmatist and knows how to get things done. It’s not “pie in the sky” but reality pushing her progressive arguments.

  2. When “the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune” fly Hillary’s way, she fields them with the facts, with reason, and her prodigious intelligence. I think her excellence and poise are why to this day there is a never-ending battle to try to bring her down.

  3. I am so proud to give my vote to Secretary Clinton. Her list of accomplishments are well known. Her grace and dignity under the most exraordinary circumstances will bring pride to our nation just as that we’ve experienced with President Obama. Frankly, I’ve grown accustomed to having a person of substace and intelligence in the oval office.

  4. Dear NWPC,

Forty six years ago in Portland, Oregon, I was the co-founder of the Oregon Women’s Political Caucus. I still have a few copies of the OWPC letterhead I designed for our group!! We joked then about the prospect of a woman for president and then we got serious. In 1972, we had Shirley Chisholm, the first serious black woman candidate, who would have made a grand president. Then we had Pat Schroeder and SHE would have been a great president. In the 1980s we had the wonderful Geraldine Ferraro who would have been the TOP for a VICE president.

But now, thank Providence, we have HILLARY! She will surely make a wonderful president, a fine answer to those who cannot remember voting records and the best possible antidote this year for a positive expression to reach the kind of even greater nation we deserve and who will help the country heal this devisive and derisive rift in our political fabric. It will be Hillary who will get results, not trade insults. It will be Hillary who will put the people of the United States FIRST, not the special interests of the few, the rich and the comfortable.

Before the Grim Reaper comes for so many of us who were so passionate and committed to a hopeful, family-oriented America with equal rights for women and economic justice for all, where education from preschool to post-graduate school is supported by every level of government, where black lives matter and the tone of politics is one of mutual respect… help us make it so with President Hillary Clinton THIS YEAR!

  5. I am for Hillary because she is the smartest candidate in the field today. Conservatives have been afraid of her progressive plans and have done their best to destroy her reputation without success because her record comtradicts those accusations. She will be our next president.

  6. I strongly feel that her experience has made her the best prepared candidate for president of the United States. And furthermore, she best represents the entire county. Bigotry has no place in this country . The republicans truly have a warped perception that won’t improve our country.

  7. I am one of the faces and voices of recovery. Thanks to Obama Care, I was able to get the full medical benefits that I so desperately needed to stay alive and get on my feet again with a long-term out-patient program. Now in weekly sessions, my health care carries me through, covering all my visits, prescriptions, and health care needs. I believe Hillary Clinton, as President will continue with Obama Care, and even improve upon it, for people who need it and thrive on it, as I do.

I will be volunteering for Hillary’s campaign. I believe she will be a great president.

  8. I think Hillary will make a great president because the most important thing a president must do is not defend the country and protect its citizens and ambassadors, but to make sure women are payed exactly the same as men!! According to scientific studies, however, this would mean lowering the pay of single, childless women in their twenties by about 8 cents to the dollar ’cause they actually earn slightly more than men (which I think is the ultimate goal of having a woman president anyway, so I’m not complaining!)!

  9. I absolutely love this woman HILLARY. I would do anything to make her our next Presidint. She deserves it more than anyone. That is a fact. Go Hillary. I love you!!!

  10. Our family of three in Portland, Oregon are with Hillary. My 4-year old daughter is excited for “the girl” to be President. (Too bad she can’t vote yet.)
Hillary has both experienced and applied idealistic and pragmatic approaches to politics; she has decades of experience making smart decisions with great outcomes and mistakes with poor outcomes. She’s composed, informed and committed to principles of compassion – that’s why she’s a great political candidate.
I trust her on a base foundational level, much like I do President Obama, and I look forward to calling her Madame President.
