Carol has worked with organizations for the past 30 years.  Carol started in Philadelphia with the Business and Professional Women’s organization that was established in 1919.  Carol held several positions as President, District Director, and national membership committee. She also served on the Montgomery County Women’s Conference for 10 years. All the organizations were nonprofit, and Carol volunteered her time all while working fulltime.

When Carol moved to the Phoenix, AZ area she got involved in about 15 organizations over her 20 years there. She started the nonprofit AZ Women’s Conference, and it continued for 10 years. Carol served on the board of the LGBTQ organization one n ten. Carol served as President in several of these organizations, and some other national and international organizations such as Business and Professional Women/USA. Carol worked over those 20 years as an Academic Advisor for Arizona State University. She graduated with her Master’s in Social Work from ASU. 

Carol had the honor of serving as President of the AZ 19th Amendment event. We celebrated every year for 5 years, on August 26, till we reached the 100th year Anniversary to bring candidates and women’s organizations together.

Carol is most proud of the Fountain Hills Liberal Ladies where she served as the co-chair for 12 years. We met once a month for both socializing and programming, which Carol was responsible for. We had 125-150 women attend each month. 

Carol’s most recent organizations are a PAC that she started which is a national organization, United Democratic Women that raises money for women running for Congress. Currently serving on the National Women’s Democratic Club where Carol has joined to serve on the Politics and Policy Committee, predominantly to fight for Gun Violence Safety.  

Her most recent organization that she is honored to serve on is the National Women’s Political Caucus that she has been appointed to serve as Vice-President of Diversity.

Carol truly believes in serving her communities and helping to improve our country.
